Teller Interview

"You sure she's really a girl and didn't just have a sex change?" I snickered to Evelyn as they talked about all the stuff Jade had had to fix

I smiled at her and nodded "I know I don't have to, but I want to. Plus, it's not just for you. Look at Dean. He's been here a year and can you remember the last time he acted so...human..around a girl?" I snickered, still talking quietly so Dean didn't come over and kick my ass

I rose an eyebrow and laughed when Jade said she lived downstairs from Evelyn.

"Well aren't we just a happy bunch?" I chuckled "I live across the hall from Evelyn and Dean's downstairs..so sounds like you two will be across the hall from each other"

I stood up and stretched, then looked at the others "Why don't we take a little time and show our new mechanic around a little?" I smiled "We can show her the Clubhouse and grab a bite to eat at Peggy's. I'll even pay. We'll consider it a business meeting" I snickered

"I promise she's really a girl." I laughed. "So you, Dean and the rest of the gang can drool to your heart's content."

I gave him a wink as I laughed and finished the rest of my beer before everyone decided to go off and do whatever. I really didn't mind Jax or Dean drooling over Jade. I knew she was gorgeous so there was really no problem in the boys having their own eye-candy. Both of them deserved something better than the usual girls that came through here.

"Well so long as you know." I chuckled and glanced over at Dean. "You know I always wondered what he was like before he came here.. maybe we'll actually get to see that side of him."

I felt incredibly sorry for Dean. I knew it was hard to lose a parent but I couldn't imagine losing a sibling. Not that I'd ever had one, but it had to have been hard. Especially because the few times that we'd gotten Dean to talk about Sam, it sounded like his brother had been his life.

I stood up when Jax did and leaned behind him to throw my beer bottle in the garbage can on the other side of him and then straightened up and laughed a little as my stomach growled at the mention of food.

"Good idea. Think that sugar I loaded up on last night is gone."

My skin tingled when Jade put her hand on my stomach and my hormones flared. I knew already that I was going to try sleeping with her. Something about her, and not just entirely her looks, was waking up the dormant monster that I'd tucked away and he was fighting to get out right now.

"I know.. but I know what that's like. I'm sorry you have to go through that. If there was something I could do I would. Anything."

I gave her a small smirk but didn't want to push it so I left it hang there. It was an offer of course but she didn't need to know that. Yet.

"Should stop over at my house later." I grumbled. "My laptop took a shit and my fridge is on the fritz. Could use some helping fixing them. I have enough money to pay you for it too."

It was all an excuse to get her to come over but I really could use some help fixing those things. I could do it myself of course but why now when I had someone as gorgeous as Jade to do it for me?

"Even easier to help me then." I chuckled when Jax pointed out Jade probably lived across the hall from me. "And food is a good idea.. there's not much to show her here." I chuckled.

"Thanks" I smiled at him "I'll keep that in mind" I couldn't help but snicker and wink

Yeah, it was easy for me to flirt..that was just my personality..it went along with being playful. It didn't mean I'd actually run off and hop in bed with Dean straight away though. Not that it was a bad thought, but I actually wanted to get to know him better first...there was something about him.

"Oh" I laughed "Well, I can always come over later tonight when you get off work and have a look for you then. I know I'd be going crazy if my fridge was being evil"

My stomach joined in the rumbling at the mention of food. "Food is definitely good. And sugar" I winked at Evelyn "is even better" I giggled

I chuckled "Nah, I won't be drooling over her. I'll leave that to Juice and Dean" I snickered

Juice was going to think he'd died and gone to heaven when he came into work tomorrow and saw Jade working. Me, on the other hand, I thought she was pretty and all but I was more interested in someone else...say...Evelyn. Everyone thought she was interested in me, but she'd never flirted with me or anything so I always just figured she thought of me as a friend or brother type. That's the only reason I ever behaved around her.

"Yeah, I know. I always wondered about that too. Every now and then we'll get a little glimpse of it when he starts cracking jokes and stuff. The guy's hilarious and I bet he was a real load of fun. Who knows? Maybe you're right. Maybe your cousin can bring it out of him" I smiled and shrugged

I laughed when everyone's stomachs growled at the mention of food.

"Ok. We'll get food first and then show her the Clubhouse" I chuckled

I nudged Evelyn a little with my shoulder "After all, gotta show your cousin where you work"

"Yeah but Juice would drool over anything that's even remotely pretty and has at least one leg."

I chuckled and shook my head. I liked Juice because he wasn't the typical bad boy, even though he was in their 'biker gang'. He hardly ever did anything right but when he did he was surprised. It was a refreshing change from the tough guys. Jax had just the right amount of softie and bad boy. He could wear the clothes, ride the bike and take care of his own but he really wasn't a bad guy at all.

"Yeah but too much sugar," I laughed at Jade and pointed to my ass, "makes that bigger."

I chuckled and then started to head out with everyone.. even though I had no idea what we were all going to drive in because my car was a ticking time bomb. But Dean started to head for his car so I followed along.

"Where I work? Thought you'd want to show her because it's the clubhouse.. and knowing Jade she'll get a kick out of the poles." I snickered. "But I mostly get you guys drunk and then clean up after you.. it's not the kind of skill it takes to fix a car."

"I can only wish."

I gave her a wink and a soft smile. I was having conflicting feelings. On the one hand I was incredibly attracted to her but on the other I didn't want to take advantage because my hormones were suddenly awake. I didn't think that was very fair for someone who was so obviously sweet.

"Then lucky for you, I have the rest of the day after since Jax promised me yesterday that I would have the afternoon off. Maybe if you get me drunk enough, I can tell you some stories about my life before Serenity."

I rose an eyebrow at Evelyn and snorted when she said that sugar went to her ass and then I glanced over at Jade's. Now her ass was absolutely perfect. It was tempting to reach out and slap it, be the perve I'd been before this life I had but I resisted.

"Like either one of you could gain an ounce of fat even if you tried." I snorted loudly and then led everyone to my car. The Clubhouse was just a block and a half over but I thought it would be a tiny bit warmer in the car.

"Well you know what they say" I snickered and winked at him "careful what you wish for"

I rose an eyebrow, instantly curious when he said he might tell me about his life before Serenity if I got him drunk enough.

"Ooo..I'll have to make sure to get you drunk and take advantage then" I cackled slightly because I could have meant that in so many ways.

I laughed and reached over to smack Evie's ass "There's nothing wrong with your ass. Is there, Jax?" I grinned at him since he was checking it out

I started following Dean toward his car since everyone else was. However, when I saw what it was, I squealed and ran straight for it.

"Oh my god. 1967 Chevy Impala. One of the sexiest cars ever made!"

I ran my hand lovingly over the hood for a moment and then turned to look at Dean with a huge grin.

"Dean, your car turns me on. Wanna show me the back seat some time?" I waggled my eyebrows at him playfully.

I snorted and shook my head at Evelyn's comment about Juice. "Juice isn't that bad. Back in Charming, we knew this guy named Tigg. He was such a perv that we were afraid to leave him alone with animals" I laughed

I had fun checking out Evelyn's ass when she pointed it out to Jade. I smirked and shook my head again when Jade questioned me.

"Nope, nothing wrong with that ass at all" I winked at Evelyn "I like it"

I walked along with Evelyn and chuckled when she seemed surprised I'd want to show her cousin where she worked.

"She's your cousin, Eve. I figure she'd be curious about where you work. And if she wants to have fun with the poles, I'm sure it'll be entertaining at least" I snickered

I blinked though as Jade suddenly got very excited over Dean's car. I looked at him and rose an eyebrow

"Why do I have a feeling she just made you top ten dream-girl list?" I laughed

I blinked and laughed. "Seriously? Animals?" I shook my head in disbelief that anyone could be that bad but then snorted.. and loudly. "Okay so you may not be into animals," I laughed, "but what about your choice of women lately? Some of them could have passed as animals."

I giggled and nudged him in the side. I squealed and jumped shortly after when Jade reached over and smacked my ass. I would have said something back to her but my mouth was momentarily shut down, along with my brain, when Jax pitched in. My cheeks turned red and I had to look away from him for fear that my face was going to explode because it was so warm. Jax had complimented me before but never anything like that and it was making my heart pound in my chest.

"I'm sure it would be." I chuckled and grasped onto the subject of Jade playing with the poles instead of my ass. "So long as you promise I can have some tequila and not watch my favorite cousin play with them."

I was hard to make jealous so it didn't surprise me that I wasn't very jealous at the thought of seeing Jax watch Jade play with the poles in any way. I knew that she wouldn't ever do anything quite that risky but it was also because I had no right to be jealous. I was being practical. It actually made me even easier to get along with other people.

"Are you kidding?" I laughed. "Have you seen Dean's face? I think she just jumped to number one on that list." I giggled and slid into the backseat and got comfortable while I waited for everyone.

"Oh I wouldn't have said something I didn't secretly wish for."

I smirked at her and then unlocked the doors to my car. I was taken off guard by the excited tone in Jade's voice. I turned around and stared at her, wide eyed, when she ran at my car and knew exactly what it was. I blinked and stared at her in utter shock because I really didn't know what to say.

"You really know what kind of car this is?" I held my door open and leaned against it as I watched her stroke the car. "It was my dad's." I smiled. "She's my baby."

I smirked when she asked if I would show her the backseat of it sometime and I glanced to see Evelyn was in the back of it.

"How about we kick those two out and I can show you every inch of it, if that's what you want."

I really wished she hadn't said anything because she really was after my heart - and my hormones were raging in the background too. The thought of messing around with her in the back of my car definitely would have made me send Evelyn and Jax packing.

"Will you marry me?" I grinned widely at her, only half listening to the talk of lists behind me.

"I can see why she's your baby" I grinned "She's hot"

I laughed when he suggested ditching Jax and Evie so he could show me his car now.

"Or instead of being rude, we could just wait til later when I come over to help fix your stuff" I giggled and winked at him

I rose an eyebrow and let out a snort of amusement when he asked if I'd marry him. I knew he was joking; he had to be, right? I mean..we'd only just met. So, I carried on the joke.

"Of course I will" I grinned

I patted his chest, gave his cheek a kiss, and then slid into the car chuckling. Yep, definitely glad I'd moved here.

I snorted "To be honest, I don't pay much attention. I've just been having sex with them because I can't have the girl I want" I shrugged "It keeps me from being lonely"

I chuckled at her tequila comment "As long as you promise I can watch you get drunk of tequila instead of watching your cousin" I snickered

I laughed when she said Jade had jumped to the number one spot on Dean's list and then Dean asked her to marry him.

"I think you're right" I nodded, sliding into the car beside her

Like Jade, I figured Dean was just messing around and having a laugh with her.

"You know you can have company without it being sex related, Jax." I chuckled. "If you're really that desperate for company, my couch and tv are always available. You know I'm a huge movie freak."

I snuggled into the seat and tried to ignore the conversation going on outside. I didn't think that was any of my business.

"So who's the girl? Is it your ex?" I asked curiously, because he'd told me about Tara once. And of course, Abel's mother too. I loved Abel. Jax had let me babysit him whenever he was too busy, mostly for club stuff I figured.

"Wow." I chuckled. "You'd rather watch me get drunk instead of Jade?" I blinked at him but smiled. "You know that may possibly be the biggest compliment anyone has given me."

Which was true, I was never picked over my cousin. Even if Jax would have, that would have been okay too so long as he'd still remained a friend.

"Isn't she?"

I petted my car and sighed. She wasn't the same without Sam though. I knew it was ridiculous but I was always looking for a way to bring my brother back from wherever he was. I couldn't stand life without him. I'd try to bring him back until the day I died. I'd given up on everything else though. All the weapons that had once been in my car was now in a locked closet in my apartment.

"Huh. Making me wait until later." I jokingly pouted at her but laughed. "Haven't been with anyone in a year.. think I can manage to wait a few hours. Even for a body as nice as yours."

I winked at her and then rose both eyebrows when Jade said she would marry me, patted my chest and gave my cheek a kiss. I knew by the way she was acting that she didn't believe me and thought it was a joke. Wouldn't she be in for a surprise when I was serious about it. Something told me that she really would.

"I'll hold you to that." I smirked and then slid into the car. I started it and headed out of the parking lot and within a minute we were at the Clubhouse. I parked right beside the door and then shut the car off and got out.
