Name: Jade Louise Embry
Jade was born 25 years ago in Las Vegas, Nevada. She's spent her entire life there until now.
Jade's parents divorced when she was little and she was raised by her father. Her father was an ex-Marine that owned a casino. He raised her to know how to defend herself in hand to hand combat, knife fights, and with guns since Vegas was a pretty wild place. He also taught her how to do mechanic work on cars and household appliances. He believed she should learn to be as self sufficient as possible. Now that he's passed away, Jade's thankful for all his lessons.
Jade's cousin works at the Clubhouse in Serenity. She's kept in touch with Jade through the years and after Jade's dad died, her cousin invited her to come stay in Serenity. She set her up an apartment and even a job interview with the guy that owns Teller Auto Shop. So, Jade packed up her stuff and headed for the tiny town in California.
Jade's a strange combination of tomboy and feminine. She also has varied interests. She loves cars and weapons because of her father, but she also has an interest in the paranormal because of all the ghost stories her mother read her before the divorce. It's the only memory she still has of her mother really. Plus she likes art and music and dancing.
